The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira scores with a kick to the midsection.
Wynn tries to clinch but Ferreira is having none of it.
Ferreira tries for a takedown but Wynn circles away easily

and Wynn counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Wynn is trying to pull guard but Ferreira has him pressed against the cage.
Wynn misses with a hook to the ribs.
Wynn wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ferreira has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wynn wants to get back to striking at distance but Ferreira won't allow it.
Wynn has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ferreira after a bit of a struggle.

Wynn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ferreira.

Ferreira shoots in and gets a takedown into Wynn's guard.

Wynn kicks Ferreira off and gets to his feet.

Ferreira bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ferreira connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Wynn some visible discomfort.
Oh Wynn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ferreira lands a strong strike to the head of Wynn. That's dazed him! Ferreira looking to finish here. Wynn is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Ferreira lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
