Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kane Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Nweave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane Hughes had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hughes!

Hughes pushes Nweave up against the cage in a clinch.
Hughes is working for takedown but Nweave is calmly controlling the position for now.

Hughes breaks from the clinch.

Hughes feints and as Nweave raises his hands in defense, Hughes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nweave working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hughes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hughes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Nweave had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hughes is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nweave Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hughes's back instead.

Hughes is really stuck here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hughes turns into Nweave and is now in his guard.
Hughes content to stall in guard here.
Hughes looking to sit in guard and control but Nweave gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hughes wants to hit a switch here but Nweave passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hughes there!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hughes is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Hughes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nweave looks to score with a jab to the body but Hughes is just out of range.

Nweave has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hughes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Nweave has tightened it up now! Hughes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
