The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason has a takedown stuffed.

Postans has Mason up against the cage in a clinch.

Mason wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Postans has him pressed against the cage.

Postans has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Postans there as he acknowledges the shot.
Perry Mason is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Mason dives in and scores a takedown into Postans's guard.
Postans wants to get back to his feet but Mason passes into half guard.

Postans scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Mason manages to mount him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Postans has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Mason gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Postans manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Mason shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Postans's guard.
Mason stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Postans swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Mason stands up and waves to Postans to follow him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Perry Mason will probably get the nod.

Postans is pushing Mason up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
