Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flamengo shoots in but usa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Flamengo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Flamengo closes this distance looking for a takedown but usa circles away.

usa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Flamengo is just riding it out for now. usa eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Flamengo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but usa frees his head nicely. Oh but Flamengo has switched to an armbar! usa is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
