Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Demento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Blik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Blik is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demento tries to bum rush Blik with a series of wild strikes but Blik uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Blik slips a straight right by Demento.
Blik tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Demento swivels and escapes.
Demento throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A combination from Demento does no damage.
Demento misses with a wild body shot.
Demento swings for the body but Blik moves out of range.
Demento keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Blik closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blik prevents Demento from improving his position.

Blik wants to work for an arm triangle but Demento is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Demento is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Blik is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Blik postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Demento looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Blik dominated that round.
That's time! Demento's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Blik uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Demento.
Blik changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Demento tries to avoid it but Blik manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Demento to the ground. Demento escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Damian Demento is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Blik is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Demento.
Demento lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blik circles away quickly and effectively.
Demento misses with an uppercut. Blik saw that one coming.
A lazy left from Demento finds it's target.
Demento throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Damian Demento seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blik looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Demento is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Demento has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Blik is working away from the top position though.
