Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Janne Lindberg (ranked 3040 p4p, 292 weight class) and Sherm Davis (ranked 1490 p4p, 140 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindberg misses with a low kick.

Davis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lindberg misses with a punch on the inside.
Davis swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Davis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Davis working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Lindberg pushes Davis back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lindberg misses with a punch on the inside.
Davis blocks an uppercut.
Lindberg misses with a hook to the ribs.
Lindberg lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Lindberg manages to break the clinch.
Lindberg throws a head kick but Davis moves out of range.
Lindberg staying out of range there.
Davis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Davis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lindberg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Davis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Davis.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Davis scoring well with a low kick there.
Lindberg scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Davis doesn't seem bothered though.
Davis tries to work over Lindberg's front leg with a kick but Lindberg checks it.
Lindberg swings for the body but Davis moves out of range.

Lindberg throws the kick towards the body but Davis avoids it.
Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lindberg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Davis lands with a straight right. Lindberg didn't see that one coming.
Lindberg circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lindberg swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Davis closes the distance and clinches.
Davis has a couple of punches blocked by Lindberg.
Davis tries to work over Lindberg's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lindberg throws a head punch that misses.
Davis lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lindberg backwards.

Lindberg is rocked!
Davis misses with some punches.
Oh Lindberg is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Davis.
Davis dips a shoulder and cracks Lindberg with a mighty uppercut! Lindberg falls back against the cage and Davis unloads with a barrage of strikes! Lindberg is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Davis screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
