The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Roe.
Roe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Magnus on the side of the head.
Roe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Magnus.
Roe misses with a right hand

and Magnus holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Magnus blocks a body shot from Roe.
Roe wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Roe can't find room to land a body shot as Magnus controls the action.
Magnus lands a shoulder strike.

It looks like Dennis Roe has been cut.
Roe is trying to break the clinch but Magnus is controlling him.
Roe misses with a body punch.
Roe tries a body shot but Magnus blocks it.
Roe struggles to land a body shot inside as Magnus controls his hands.
Roe misses with a shot to the kidneys.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magnus will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Roe up against the cage.

Magnus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Magnus darts in and clinches Roe up against the cage.

Roe tries to throw a body punch but Magnus avoids it by throwing Roe back against the cage.

Magnus lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Roe pushes Magnus off but Magnus dives into side control.

Magnus has hold of Roe's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Roe seems comfortable defending it but Magnus has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Roe is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Roe is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Magnus couldn't care less - he's delighted!
