Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wrast Lerr!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metusalem tries to clinch up but Lerr circles away and keeps his distance.

Lerr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ground and pound from Lerr seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
You can see the frustration on Metusalem's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

It looks like Wrast Lerr has been cut.
Metusalem lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.

Metusalem pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Metusalem gets through Lerr's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Lerr counters with a nice double leg into side control. Metusalem won't be happy with that.

Metusalem gets back to half guard.
Metusalem moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Metusalem manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lerr manages to get himself to full guard.
Metusalem is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Lerr can't keep his opponent in guard - Metusalem advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
