Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hatfield McCoy (ranked 7713 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Bailey (ranked 7882 p4p, 0 weight class). McCoy comes to the cage accompanied by Dueling Banjos. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bailey's choice of entrance music: NWA-Fuck Tha Police. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Bailey!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy thuds his right hand into Bailey's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bailey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

McCoy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Bailey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McCoy's waist but McCoy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bailey off to one side.

Bailey throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Bailey takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

McCoy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bailey to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bailey shrugs it off.

McCoy closes the distance and clinches.

McCoy ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McCoy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
McCoy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
McCoy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

McCoy manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Bailey is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and McCoy dives into side control.

Bailey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCoy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hatfield McCoy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
McCoy has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bailey's body.

McCoy just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

McCoy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bailey for as long as he can get away with.
