Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas McCain (ranked 377 p4p, 58 weight class) and Stadin Kingi (ranked 1155 p4p, 165 weight class). McCain's entrance music is My Heros Have Always Been Cowboys . A fine choice. Kingi has chosen Kahvimaito as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucas McCain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stadin Kingi!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingi misses the shot to the body.
Kingi throws the left hand but McCain avoids the punch easily.
McCain looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McCain looks for the body kick but Kingi saw that one coming.
Kingi connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
McCain throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McCain lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
McCain swinging wildly here.
Kingi lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Kingi moves out of range as McCain strikes.
McCain swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kingi blocks a jab.
McCain moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
McCain throws a hook but Kingi blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kingi takes one on the button.
Kingi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kingi throws a looping overhand right but McCain ducks down to avoid it.
McCain is looking to counter with a body kick.
Kingi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McCain.
McCain throws out a loose jab but Kingi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kingi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
McCain is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Kingi's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kingi throws a jab when McCain was well out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kingi thuds his right hand into McCain's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kingi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Stadin Kingi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kingi sizes up McCain with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kingi throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kingi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Kingi has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
McCain looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
McCain lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kingi tries to land a front kick but McCain steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
McCain looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Kingi falls off balance throwing a combination

and McCain holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kingi.
McCain blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
McCain stalling against the cage.
A short right from McCain on the inside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McCain tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kingi's elbow.
McCain swings wildly with an uppercut but Kingi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kingi is working McCain over against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kingi gets control of McCain's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kingi will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

McCain decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kingi, up you get!
McCain throws a body punch but Kingi moves out of range.
McCain fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kingi on the side of the head.
Kingi scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
McCain throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kingi's head.
McCain uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kingi.
A swing and a miss from McCain.
Kingi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kingi ducks under a wild hook from McCain.
Kingi wants to land a leg kick but McCain is out of range.
McCain tries a head kick but it misses.
McCain checks a leg kick nicely.
Kingi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
McCain throws a sloppy head kick and Kingi moves out of range easily.
McCain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kingi lands with a straight right. McCain didn't see that one coming.
McCain moves out of range as Kingi throws a body kick.
Kingi misses with a body kick.
Kingi walks into a straight right hand from McCain.
Kingi tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and McCain is able to avoid easily.
McCain is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kingi.
McCain tries a low kick but Kingi avoids it.
Kingi throws a leg kick
and McCain counters with a thumping low kick.
McCain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McCain tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kingi was well out of range. Poor timing from McCain.
Kingi misses with a right hand
letting McCain counter with a right hand.
McCain takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

McCain clinches up against the cage.
Kingi lands a hook that snaps the head of McCain backwards.
Kingi throws a punch but it's blocked by McCain.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McCain can't find room to land a body shot as Kingi controls the action.
McCain doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McCain working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
McCain keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kingi's efforts to push away.
McCain misses with a hook from the clinch.
McCain works on Kingi's body with a couple of short punches.
Kingi fails to pull the fight into his guard.

McCain manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Kingi.
McCain throws a head kick that misses
and Kingi finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
McCain throws a body punch but Kingi moves out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from McCain. Kingi shrugs it off though.
Donk. Kingi catches McCain right on the button with a cross.
McCain walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kingi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nice cross by McCain.
Kingi misses with a few strikes there.
McCain jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Kingi is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! McCain had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Kingi swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kingi moves into range and connects with a jab.


McCain is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lucas McCain will probably get the nod.
That's time! McCain's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


McCain throws a lazy right hand but Kingi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Stadin Kingi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Oh McCain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kingi throws an overhand right that drops McCain like a sack of potatoes! Kingi dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stadin Kingi!
After the fight, Stadin Kingi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
