The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo swats away the attempt to clinch by Shupe.
Shupe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bravo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Shupe takes the fight into the clinch.
Shupe pulls guard.
Bravo drops back looking for a leg! Shupe is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shupe manages to kick Bravo off! Bravo jumps back into Shupe's guard.
Shupe looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shupe being controlled here, momentarily.
Bravo trying to control the position from guard on top but Shupe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bravo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bravo forces his way into half guard.
Bravo is looking for a kimura but Shupe is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bravo to get the leverage.
Bravo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Shupe tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bravo!

After winning the bout, Joe Bravo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
