The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maybetter avoids the body shot from White.
Maybetter tries to bum rush White with a series of wild strikes but White uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
White moves out of range as Maybetter strikes.
Maybetter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. White sees it coming and avoids it easily.
White misses with a takedown attempt
and Maybetter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Maybetter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Chris White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Chris White has been cut.
White with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Maybetter to score with a decent uppercut.
White keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
White tries to clinch there but Maybetter circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Maybetter! But no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Maybetter lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
White throws a right and a left that both miss.
Maybetter smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Maybetter lands a head shot.
Maybetter fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. White looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
White is breathing heavily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maybetter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White.

and Maybetter scores with a counter punch that sends White to the canvas! Maybetter smells blood - he's punishing White with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! White has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
