Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Suarez (ranked 6861 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Duffy (ranked 3834 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Duffy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duffy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Suarez at a distance.
Duffy jabs at Suarez's body.
Suarez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Suarez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Suarez is pressing down on Duffy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Duffy is holding on for now.
Duffy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Suarez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duffy is in trouble now - Suarez has advanced to mount!

Suarez looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Suarez with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Duffy defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Suarez.
Suarez jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Duffy manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Suarez is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Duffy has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Suarez wants to control the pace but Duffy is squirming around nicely.

Suarez has hold of Duffy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Duffy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Suarez is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Duffy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Suarez looking for a guillotine from mount but Duffy is having none of it.
Duffy has left one of his arms exposed and Suarez doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Duffy screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
