Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mason Alexander (ranked 22760 p4p, 732 weight class) and Jack Jamison (ranked 22736 p4p, 689 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mason Alexander!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Jamison!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamison circles away from the clinch attempt.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Alexander.

Mason Alexander has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Jamison.
Jamison is pressed up against the cage. Alexander has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jamison down to the mat. Jamison avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Alexander misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Jamison scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Alexander doesn't seem bothered though.

A bone on bone clash there as Alexander blocks the leg kick.
Jamison throws a leg kick but Alexander moved away.
Alexander lands with a kick to the temple. Jamison shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alexander shoots in for a double leg but Jamison sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jamison shoots in for a takedown but Alexander shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jamison shoots in looking for a takedown but Alexander manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jamison's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Alexander appears to be looking for a big counter.

Jamison moves into the clinch successfully.
Jamison misses with an elbow over the top.
Alexander is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jamison is defending well for now.

Jamison dives in for a single leg takedown but Alexander sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Alexander wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Jamison shoots for a takedown but Alexander saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Mason Alexander will probably get the nod.

Horrible takedown attempt by Jamison or perhaps it was just good defense by Alexander, which made it look bad.

Alexander is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jamison is keeping busy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Alexander is striking but Jamison is not phased and passes to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jamison thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Alexander's head.
Alexander is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Jamison jumps into side control!
