Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Hawk (ranked 8721 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nigel Gazelle (ranked 23130 p4p, 253 weight class). Hawk kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is This Fire Burns. Nigel Gazelle will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hawk scores with the left hand. Gazelle knows he should have avoided that one.

Tim Hawk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hawk throws a lazy right hand but Gazelle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Hawk throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gazelle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hawk is fending him off so far but Gazelle persists. Nope, Hawk circles away and we're back to standing.
A swing and a miss from Hawk.
Gazelle looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hawk throws the left hand but Gazelle avoids the punch easily.
Hawk fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gazelle on the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gazelle goes for a double leg but Hawk avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hawk continues to drive forward.

Tim Hawk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nigel Gazelle.

Hawk is stalking Gazelle. Gazelle circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Hawk, and it's lights out! Gazelle really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
