The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sliceio shoots in looking for a takedown. Fisher tries to sprawl out of it but Sliceio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fisher manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fisher pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Sliceio rushes Fisher and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Sliceio breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sliceio blocks a head kick by Fisher.
Sliceio misses with a body shot.
Fisher went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Sliceio scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
