Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charles Ng (ranked 675 p4p, 70 weight class) and John Henry (ranked 660 p4p, 68 weight class). Ng comes to the cage accompanied by Wedlock - I'm The Fuck You Man. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Charles Ng!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Henry!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry throws a looping overhand right but Ng ducks down to avoid it.
Ng thows a left - swing and a miss!
Henry is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Charles Ng seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Henry misses the target.
Ng misses with a kick to the body.
Henry has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ng is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Henry lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ng backs up against the cage.

Henry throws a leg kick which misses Ng's front leg but catches the back leg as Ng tries to avoid it.

Ng walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Henry checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Henry moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Henry ducks right into an uppercut from Ng.

Henry is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ng's half guard.

Ng tries to get to full guard but Henry has control of the leg.
Ng might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Henry is keen to just control but Ng is a slippery customer.

That was a close round but I would say that Charles Ng will probably get the nod.
That's time! Ng's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Henry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ng is looking to wear down Henry with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ng fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Henry has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Henry is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ng can't fight it off and eventually Henry manages to take the fight to the floor. Ng looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Henry has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
