The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Jamison thumps Bowman with a low kick.

Jamison drives through and clinches with Bowman against the cage.

Bowman is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jamison is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bowman to the mat. Bowman regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Bowman pushes Jamison off and gets back to his feet.

Bowman closes the distance and pushes Jamison back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jamison wants to break free but Bowman has control.
Bowman pushes Jamison back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bowman prevents Jamison from breaking the clinch.

Jamison is looking to break free of the clinch but Bowman has double underhooks.

Jamison has clasped his hands together around Bowman's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Bowman explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Otis Bowman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bowman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jamison connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Jamison lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bowman backwards.

It looks like Otis Bowman has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jamison gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Bowman throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jamison escapes and throws Bowman's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Bowman is looking to regain half guard here but Jamison keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jamison decides to stand back up.
Jamison scores with a jab to the body.
A left and a right from Jamison both land. Nice combination.

Jamison darts in and clinches Bowman up against the cage.

A head punch on the inside from Jamison fails to land.
Bowman keeps control of Jamison as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Jamison breaks from the clinch.

Bowman gets tackled into the cage by Jamison. Jamison maintains the clinch.

Jamison has hold of one of Bowman's legs. Bowman is fighting the takedown attempt but Jamison gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Bowman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jamison on the ground.

Jamison wants to pass the guard but Bowman is keeping the position.

Jamison has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bowman is proving hard to escape from.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Jamison is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
