Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickey Cobb (ranked 6223 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrik Goran (ranked 6377 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goran gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

That's time! Cobb's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Cobb clinches up against the cage.
Cobb jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Goran walks away with a smile on his face. Cobb gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cobb is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Goran can do to turn this around?

Goran fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cobb to the ground. Goran is now in Cobb's guard.

Goran moves into range and clinches up with Cobb.

Cobb knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Goran on the ground.

Henrik Goran showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Goran closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cobb to the mat! Cobb manages to get full guard.
Goran wants to control from the top but Cobb keeps moving.

Goran postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cobb is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Goran, into his guard.

Goran working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cobb doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cobb manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Cobb has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Goran can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Goran stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cobb swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Goran shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cobb is trying to defend but Goran finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Goran sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cobb's guard.
