Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerrell Byrd (ranked 6323 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georgij Kuznetsov (ranked 7925 p4p, 0 weight class). Georgij Kuznetsov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byrd feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kuznetsov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kuznetsov gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Byrd is trying to pull guard but Kuznetsov has him pressed against the cage.

Kuznetsov is posturing up here but Byrd has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kuznetsov tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kuznetsov has to tap! Slick submission there by Byrd!
