The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Kawasaki. No joy for Singh on that attempt.
Singh jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kawasaki throws out a counter right but Singh avoids it with no problem.
Kawasaki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Singh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A jab lands there for Kawasaki.

It looks like Dalip Singh has been cut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Singh or perhaps it was just good defense by Kawasaki, which made it look bad.

Singh closes the distance and clinches.
Kawasaki looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Kawasaki drops Singh onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Singh is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Dalip Singh's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Kawasaki creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Singh with a big uppercut! Singh tries to clinch up but Kawasaki pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Singh to the mat! Singh covers up and Kawasaki unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
