The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Afzal gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fiaschi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fiaschi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Fiaschi stuffs the takedown attempt from Afzal. Afzal gets slowly back to his feet.

Afzal looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Fiaschi!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Afzal shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fiaschi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Afzal thinking.
Afzal misses with a straight left.
Afzal moves to clinch but Fiaschi breaks away
and Fiaschi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fiaschi throws a body shot but no joy.
Afzal thows a leg kick but Fiaschi checks it
and Fiaschi counters with a left to the body.
Fiaschi throws a sloppy body shot
and Afzal counters with a nice uppercut.
Fiaschi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fiaschi lands a nice shot that snaps Afzal's head back.
Afzal closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fiaschi circles away.
Fiaschi now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Afzal is breathing heavily.
A low kick from Afzal misses
and Fiaschi counters with a crisp right that sends Afzal to the canvas! Fiaschi follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Dante Fiaschi decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
