The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turturro shoots in looking for a takedown but Spot manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Turturro's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Turturro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Turturro shoots in but Spot avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Johnny Spot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carmine Turturro.

Spot gets caught napping as Turturro dives in and scores a takedown. Spot manages to retain guard.

Turturro drops back looking for a leg! Spot is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Spot manages to kick Turturro off! Turturro jumps back into Spot's guard.

Turturro has hold of Spot's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Spot tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Turturro cranks the arm and Spot screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Spot, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
