The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richlin blocks a head kick by Rush.

Richlin cracks Rush with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rush darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Richlin counters with a left and a right that hurts Rush! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Richlin jumps into full mount!

Richlin is pushing down on Rush's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rush is fighting to maintain full guard but Richlin has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rush is looking for a sweep. Richlin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Frank Richlin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Richlin waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Rush.
Rush throws a right and a left that both miss.
Richlin defending well as Rush loads up on a big left hand.

Rush swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Richlin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rush ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Richlin moves away.
Rush misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Madden Rush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rush throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rush fails with the takedown
and Richlin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Richlin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Richlin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A telegraphed right hand from Rush misses the target.
Richlin grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Rush takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Richlin cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
