Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lynn Kernes!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kernes shoots in but no luck this time.
Leroy cracks Kernes with a good jab.
It looks like Lynn Kernes has been cut.
Kernes throws a solid leg kick but Leroy takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kernes.
Kernes blocks a head kick by Leroy.
Kernes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Leroy buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kernes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Leroy throws a head kick that misses.
Leroy tries a head kick but it misses.
Kernes fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bruce Leroy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lynn Kernes.
Leroy sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Kernes to the ground! Leroy dives into full mount looking to finish!
Kernes is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Leroy softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Kernes is out cold! Leroy jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Leroy!
