The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manboy tries to keep at a distance but Bezerra has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bezerra keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Manboy's efforts to push away.
Bezerra breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bezerra fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Manboy avoids it really well and circles away.
It seemed like Manboy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bezerra tries to counter with a takedown but Manboy is quick to defend against it.
Manboy throws a body shot but no joy.
Manboy cracks a nice hook into Bezerra's ribs.

Bezerra moves into the clinch.
Manboy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bezerra walks away with a smile on his face. Manboy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Manboy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Manboy stuffs the takedown.
Manboy scores with a shot to the body.
Bezerra shoots in but no luck this time.
Bezerra tries to close the distance and clinch but Manboy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Manboy throws out a counter right but Bezerra avoids it with no problem.

As Bezerra backs off Manboy throws a huge counter combo but Bezerra manages to avoid it all.
Bezerra is breathing heavily.

and Manboy counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Manboy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Manboy lands with an overhand left.
Joabe Bezerra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Manboy cracks Bezerra with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Manboy counters with a crisp right that sends Bezerra to the canvas! Manboy follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
