Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sven Svendsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Snuka!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snuka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Svendsen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Snuka swivels and escapes.
Svendsen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Svendsen fails to land the takedown.
Svendsen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Svendsen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Svendsen wants to clinch up but Snuka keeps it at a distance.
Svendsen shoots in and drives through. Snuka sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sven Svendsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snuka dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Svendsen. That did some damage!
No joy there for Svendsen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sven Svendsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Svendsen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Snuka pinned against the cage. Snuka gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Svendsen shoots in but Snuka avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Svendsen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A punch combination from Snuka misses.
Svendsen tries to clinch there but Snuka circles away.
Snuka has Svendsen up against the ropes in a clinch.
Snuka breaks from the clinch.
Svendsen tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Snuka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Snuka attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Svendsen tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Snuka counters with a left and a right that hurts Svendsen! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Snuka jumps into full mount!
Svendsen is rocked!
Snuka controlling his opponent.
Oh Svendsen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Svendsen wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.
Svendsen is breathing heavily.
Snuka controlling the position easily from mount.
Svendsen seems to have got his legs back now.
Svendsen tries to hold on but Snuka postures up.

Svendsen regains half guard.
Snuka takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Svendsen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Snuka scores with a couple of nice shots.

Snuka throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Snuka stands up and beckons Svendsen to join him on the feet.
Svendsen fails with the takedown.
Svendsen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Snuka as he jumps to the side.

Snuka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Svendsen wants to clinch
and Snuka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Snuka misses with a few strikes there.
A combination from Snuka does no damage.

Snuka clinches up with Svendsen and pushes him back against the ropes.
Snuka with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Svendsen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Snuka misses with a knee strike.
Snuka breaks from the clinch.
Snuka with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Svendsen wants to clinch but Snuka slips to the side
and Snuka counters with a body kick that stops Svendsen in his tracks momentarily.
Snuka instigates a clinch.
Svendsen throws a knee to the head but misses.
Svendsen misses with a knee strike.
Svendsen with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Svendsen crunches a lovely knee into Snuka's ribcage.
Svendsen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Snuka just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Svendsen lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Svendsen prevents Snuka from breaking the clinch.
Snuka breaks the clinch.
Svendsen wants to clinch but Snuka slips to the side
and Snuka counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Snuka.
Svendsen lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Snuka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Snuka darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Svendsen gets a clinch.
Snuka scores with a knee to the head.
Snuka on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Snuka lands an elbow inside that Svendsen shrugs off.
Snuka wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Snuka breaks from the clinch.
Svendsen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Snuka circles away.
Svendsen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Snuka is rocked!
Svendsen wants to clinch
and Svendsen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Svendsen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Good work by Svendsen as he checks the leg kick.
Svendsen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Snuka but Snuka pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Snuka is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Svendsen hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
