Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blaine Callaghan (ranked 6235 p4p, 598 weight class) and Benoit Loyer (ranked 4653 p4p, 0 weight class). Callaghan comes to the cage accompanied by The Foggy Dew. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benoit Loyer!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callaghan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Loyer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Callaghan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Loyer misses with a body punch
and Callaghan counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Loyer!
Callaghan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Loyer seems a little lost for a moment, as Callaghan dominates the positioning.
Callaghan has an Americana. Loyer didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Callaghan is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Callaghan hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Blaine Callaghan!
During a confident post fight interview, Blaine Callaghan thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
