Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrik Toth (ranked 6281 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tourney One (ranked 6212 p4p, 166 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Patrik Toth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tourney One!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Toth has managed to clinch.

Toth is trying to trip One. He has hold of a leg but One is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Toth persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Toth gets to his feet. One looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Toth closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Toth stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Toth gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Toth pulls guard.
One trying to control the position from guard on top but Toth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
One might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Toth haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Toth throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
One looking to pass the guard.
One in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Toth looking to control.
Toth is adopting a defensive guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
One stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Toth swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nice straight punches there by One. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of One.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Toth has One up against the cage in a clinch.
One can't find room to land a body shot as Toth controls the action.
Toth prevents a body shot from One.
Toth will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning One up against the cage.
One is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Toth manages to break the clinch.
One connects with a crisp jab.
One is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Toth has managed to clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Toth blocks an uppercut.
One is looking to break free of the clinch but Toth has double underhooks.
One is trying to force a seperation but Toth has the dominant position.

Toth lands a takedown into guard.
One is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Toth might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Toth looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
One is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Toth slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
One keeping moving, preventing Toth from controlling successfully.

One throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Toth escapes and throws One's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Toth in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
One taking punishment in the form of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Patrik Toth dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Toth darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Toth is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
One is pressing down on Toth's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Toth is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
One wants to stand but Toth is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
One being controlled here, momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Toth gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Toth has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Toth there as he acknowledges the shot.
One throws a body punch but Toth moves out of range.
Toth misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Some wild striking there from One.
A nice combination there by One.
Toth takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
One uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Toth has time to react.
Toth takes one to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
One scores with a hook to the body. Toth takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
One throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Toth counters by clinching up.
A short right from Toth.

Toth has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics One uses from the top position.

Toth looking for a guillotine here but One defends easily.
One wants to control from the top but Toth keeps moving.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Toth trying to keep a closed guard but One is proving a slippery customer.

Toth has a closed guard, preventing One from standing up.
One looking to pass the guard.
One missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Toth is on top in guard.

One bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Toth's guard.

Toth keeping moving, preventing One from controlling successfully.
Toth pulls One in to control the position.
One wants to control from the top but Toth keeps moving.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Toth looking to hit a scissor sweep but One is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tourney One showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


One lands with a straight right. Toth didn't see that one coming.
One lands a nice hook to Toth's body. Toth takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
One uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Toth.
It seemed like One was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A left lands for One.


Toth is rocked!
One throws an uppercut from hell that sends Toth clean off his feet! He's out cold! One stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
