The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conlon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pederson sprawls well. Pederson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Conlon gets slowly back to his feet.
Pederson flicks out a counter leg kick but Conlon steps away.
Norman Pederson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
