PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bravo (ranked 4009 p4p, 470 weight class) and Your Moms Favorite (ranked 3404 p4p, 424 weight class). Bravo comes to the cage accompanied by Destroyer. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Your Moms Favorite!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Favorite takes the fight into the clinch.

Bravo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Favorite can't fight it off and eventually Bravo manages to take the fight to the floor. Favorite looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bravo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bravo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bravo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Favorite is just riding it out for now. Bravo eventually gives up the hold.

Bravo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Favorite sees it coming and defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Favorite pushes Bravo off looking to stand but Bravo dives back in and keeps control.

Favorite is defending against the submission attempts here by Bravo.
Bravo is trying to control the action in half guard but Favorite is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Favorite fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bravo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Favorite creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Come on Favorite - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Favorite throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bravos head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Favorite lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bravo backwards.
Oh Bravo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bravo takes a shot to the head.
Favorite dips a shoulder and cracks Bravo with a mighty uppercut! Bravo falls back against the cage and Favorite unloads with a barrage of strikes! Bravo is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Favorite screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Your Moms Favorite!
