Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stan Stoole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Yoda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoda has chosen Star Wars Theme as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoole checks a low kick from Yoda.
Yoda slips a jab and a cross from Stoole.

and Yoda counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stoole won't be happy with that.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Yoda has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stoole can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stoole drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Yoda manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stoole has Yoda in his guard.

Stoole had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Yoda is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Stoole Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Yoda's back instead.

Stoole is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Yoda knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Yoda for a finish.

Stoole looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Yoda has picked Stoole up and slammed him! Stoole can't keep hold of the triangle and Yoda manages to pass to side control!

Yoda thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Well Yoda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
