The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pounder drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Pounder wants to control from the top but Hoffman keeps moving.
Pounder keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hoffman's head.
Hoffman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hoffman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pounder is aware though and is defending well.
Hoffman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pounder slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Hoffman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Pounder has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hoffman to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pounder is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hoffman pulls down on the head and he's put Pounder to sleep! This one is all over!
