The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Man is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Man throws a strike aimed at the side of Chan's head but Chan avoids it well.
Chan really is a fat lump.

Man decides to stand up, so the ref orders Chan to his feet.

Man gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Chan breaks from the clinch.
Man looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chan is fending him off so far but Man persists. Nope, Chan circles away and we're back to standing.
Man tries for a takedown but Chan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Chan is looking to counter with head kicks.
Nice takedown defense from Chan. No joy for Man on that attempt.

Chan clinches up with Man and pushes him back against the cage.

Chan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Man shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chan sprawls well. Chan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Man gets slowly back to his feet.

Man throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chan's waist but Chan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Man off to one side.

Chan is trying to force a seperation but Man has the dominant position.
Chan using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Man has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Man tries to break the clinch but Chan is controlling the position.

Chan tries to break free but Man pushes him back against the cage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Man jumps guard but Chan turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Man fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Chan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Man has him pressed against the cage.
We've been informed that Man has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Chan is trying to push Man away but Man has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Man pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Chan avoids the head kick by Man.

Man instigates a clinch.
A hook to the body from Chan.

Man manages to pull guard.
Chan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Chan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Chan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Man ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Man no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Chan lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Man dives in and grabs Chan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chan pushes down on Man's head and hops out.
Man is breathing heavily.
Chan fails with a takedown attempt.

Chan tries to keep at a distance but Man has taken the fight into the clinch.

Man breaks from the clinch.
Chan goes for a double leg but Man avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Man continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ernesto Chan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Man closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chan to the mat! Chan manages to get full guard.

Man postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Man, into his guard.

Chan jumps guard and drags Man to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Man gets control of Chan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Man will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Chan postures up in Man's guard and throws a big left but Man blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chan manages to end up in side control.

Man sneaks out the side door and pushes Chan away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Chan wants to clinch up but Man keeps it at a distance.

Man looking to score a takedown here. Chan is defending well but Man drives through and ends up in Chan's guard.
Man trying to control the position from guard on top but Chan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jim Man.
I think Man has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
