The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gergosyan throws a left and a right that both miss

and Samuals holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Samuals feints and then cracks Gergosyan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gergosyan down.
Akop Gergosyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Samuals lands a big right hand that sends Gergosyan crashing to the mat! Samuals stays standing though and waves Gergosyan back to his feet!
Gergosyan is still on wobbly legs! Can Samuals finish him?
