PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heavy Guy (ranked 100 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky Dee (ranked 3279 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Micky Dee!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy lands a jab.

It looks like Micky Dee has been cut.
Guy cracks a nice hook into Dee's ribs.
Guy lands with a straight right. Dee didn't see that one coming.
Dee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Guy appears to be looking for a big counter.
Guy works the jab nicely.

Guy moves into range and clinches up with Dee.
Nice body punch from Guy - that landed with a thud.
A shot in the inside from Guy.
Dee is trying to drag Guy to the mat but Guy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Dee drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A short left from Guy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Guy cracks Dee with a nice body shot.
Guy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dee backwards.

That has opened up Micky Dee's cut even more.
Guy prevents the takedown attempt.
Heavy Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Micky Dee.
Guy lands a nice shot to the body.
Dee looks winded!
Guy lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dee or not.
Dee wants a takedown.
Dee drops down looking for an ankle pick but Guy pulls his leg out and moves away.
Guy cracks a nice hook into Dee's ribs.
Dee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Guy scores with a counter punch that sends Dee to the canvas! Guy smells blood - he's punishing Dee with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Dee has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
