Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arturo Cox (ranked 24989 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kitsune Miko (ranked 6022 p4p, 0 weight class). Kitsune Miko will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kitsune Miko!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miko takes the fight into the clinch.

Miko jumps guard and drags Cox to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Cox really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Miko keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cox's head.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Cox moves into full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cox is on top in guard.

Miko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cox doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cox manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kitsune Miko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!



Miko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Miko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
