The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohtani works over Fraser's head and body with a nice combination.
Ohtani looks to land a right hand but Fraser moved out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fraser has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ohtani looks to score with a jab to the body but Fraser is just out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Ohtani. No joy for Fraser on that attempt.
Ohtani rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fraser moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ohtani throws a series of punches but Fraser moves out of range.
Fraser feints the counter takedown.
Ohtani scores with a sloppy right hand. Fraser should have avoided that one.
Kato Ohtani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ohtani throws a series of strikes that have Fraser backpedaling.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fraser avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fraser showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ohtani.
Good standup being displayed there by Ohtani as he connects with a hook.
Ohtani throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Fraser counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Fraser manages to break the clinch.
Fraser tries a head kick but it misses.

Oooooh!!! Ohtani has knocked Fraser down with a huge combo! Ohtani steps away and waves a wobbly Fraser back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Chris Fraser has been cut.

Ohtani drops Fraser with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Fraser! Ohtani dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
