PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Winkle (ranked 7795 p4p, 629 weight class) and Hussein Alou (ranked 6441 p4p, 594 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winkle avoids a punch combination nicely.

Oooooh!!! Winkle has knocked Alou down with a huge combo! Winkle steps away and waves a wobbly Alou back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Hussein Alou has been cut.
Winkle blocks a low kick nicely.

Winkle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alou looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alou wants to get back to his feet.
Winkle has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Alou!
Alou is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Alou is just holding on here. Winkle manages to take his back.

Winkle has his opponent's back but Alou is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Winkle.
