The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Chow finds it's target.

Azevedo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Chow quickly recovers to half guard.
Azevedo is trying to control. Chow wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Azevedo is really struggling to control Chow but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Azevedo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Azevedo is trying to work for a kimura but Chow is defending well.
Chow is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Azevedo works his way into full mount!
Chow wants to hold on but Azevedo pushes him away.

Azevedo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Chow is on top in guard.

Chow drops back looking for a leg! Azevedo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Azevedo manages to kick Chow off! Chow jumps back into Azevedo's guard.
Chow won't allow Azevedo to sweep him here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Azevedo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Chow lands a couple of elbows.

Azevedo looking for a guillotine here but Chow defends easily.

Azevedo has his foot on Chow's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chow works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Azevedo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Chow's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Chow's back!

Azevedo is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Chow with him. Chow is trying to defend but Azevedo has an arm under the chin now! Chow grimaces and is forced to tap out!
