Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reverend Blackstock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Rheinallt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rheinallt's choice of entrance music: Alice in Chains - We Die Young. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rheinallt shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Blackstock wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rheinallt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blackstock is just riding it out for now. Rheinallt eventually gives up the hold.

Rheinallt perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Blackstock is trying to stand up here but Rheinallt is controlling him well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rheinallt wants to pass to mount but Blackstock is defending the position.
Blackstock has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rheinallt is working away from the top position though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
The fight stays on the outside here - Blackstock looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Blackstock had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rheinallt is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Blackstock Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rheinallt's back instead.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Blackstock wants to get back to his feet but Rheinallt is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
