The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mother throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Travis was covering up waiting for the punch and Mother finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mother stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Travis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Travis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Mother bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Travis's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alden Travis will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alden Travis.
