The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kruger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rizzo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Kruger fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rizzo is out of range.
A good leg kick by Rizzo .
Rizzo throws a push kick but Kruger slaps the foot to one side.
Kruger throws a head kick that misses.
Kruger thows a left - swing and a miss!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rizzo .
Rizzo scores with a head kick. Kruger tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Kruger lands the left hand.
Kruger throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kruger ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rizzo tries to land a body kick

and Kruger counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kruger drops back looking for a leg! Rizzo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rizzo manages to kick Kruger off! Kruger jumps back into Rizzo 's guard.

Kruger pushes down on Rizzo 's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Kruger looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kruger passes to side control.

Rizzo looking for a sweep but Kruger has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Kruger looking to isolate an arm here. Rizzo doesn't see it coming and as Kruger extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Kruger!
