The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Styles looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Styles darts in and clinches Niklas up against the cage.
Styles is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Niklas gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Still in the clinch, Niklas scores with a nice short uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Niklas creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Styles is trying to pull guard but Niklas has him pressed against the cage.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Niklas screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
