Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Berger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Doodoo Mcgoo!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgoo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Berger manages to avoid it.
Berger tries to clinch up but Mcgoo circles away and keeps his distance.

and Mcgoo counters with a left to the body.
Berger is looking to clinch.

Berger gets caught napping as Mcgoo dives in and scores a takedown. Berger manages to retain guard.
Mcgoo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Berger throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcgoo stays in close to Berger's body and controls the position.
Mcgoo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Mcgoo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Berger avoids the head kick by Mcgoo.
Doodoo Mcgoo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Berger tries to clinch but Mcgoo is having none of it.
Mcgoo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Berger takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mcgoo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Mcgoo takes the fight into the clinch.

Mcgoo has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Berger clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Mcgoo slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Berger is trying to control the position but Mcgoo manages to sink in the RNC - Berger is forced to tap!
