Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haynes gets tackled into the cage by Mushroom. Mushroom maintains the clinch.
Mushroom pulls guard.
Mushroom looking to hit a scissor sweep but Haynes is one step ahead there.
Haynes wanted to stand there but Mushroom had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mushroom is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Haynes is aware though and is defending well.
Haynes throwing strikes but missing.
Haynes trying to control the position from guard on top but Mushroom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Haynes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Haynes drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mushroom manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Haynes has Mushroom in his guard.

Mushroom has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Haynes is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Haynes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mushroom manages to get himself to full guard.

Haynes went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Mushroom throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Haynes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mushroom is in Haynes's guard.

Haynes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mushroom does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mushroom is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Haynes defends well.

Mushroom tries to land a knee to the head but Haynes blocks with his arms.

Mushroom has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Haynes avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Mushroom gets control of Haynes's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mushroom will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Mushroom wants to stand and escape but Haynes is having none of it.
Haynes has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mushroom is proving hard to escape from.
Mushroom has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Mushroom is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Haynes stops Mushroom from standing up.

Magic Mushroom is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Haynes goes for a double leg but Mushroom avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mushroom continues to drive forward.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Haynes leaves Mushroom with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mushroom shoots for a double leg takedown but Haynes sprawls well. He's pushed Mushroom's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Haynes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mushroom.
As Mushroom looks to move away, Haynes throws a big counter combo but Mushroom just gets out of the way.

Magic Mushroom comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mushroom has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
