Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dillon Jerome!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Page scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Page will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Page stands up and beckons Jerome to his feet.

Jerome gets caught napping as Page dives in and scores a takedown. Jerome manages to retain guard.
Page loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Page's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Page prevents Jerome from getting back to his feet.
Page is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Jerome has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Page is working away from the top position though.

Page looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jerome is trying to stand back up but Page is controlling him

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Page takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Jerome shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Page is concentrating on defense, preventing Jerome from advancing position.

Jerome is taking a breather. Page says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Jerome is trying to control the action in half guard but Page is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Page really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Page bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jerome's guard.

Jerome pushes Page off and gets back to his feet.
Jerome scores with a head kick.

A close round but Dillon Jerome will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

As Jerome tries to get set, Page tries to push him back and clinch up but Jerome manages to avoid the attempt.

Page shoots for a double leg takedown but Jerome sprawls well. He's pushed Page's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dillon Jerome seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Page is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jerome's half guard.

Page shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jerome as he avoids it easily.
Jerome unleashes a big counter combination but Page bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Jerome shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Page is trying to defend but Jerome finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jerome stalling away here and it's allowed Page to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
