The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tew defends it nicely.
Tew closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carter circles away.
Tew shoots in for a takedown but Carter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tew fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Tew ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carter moves away.
Tew defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carter.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tew throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Tew is looking to take a break and control but Carter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Carter is looking for a sweep. Tew is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

and Carter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Tew shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Carter counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Carter.
Tew manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Carter works over Tew with some ground and pound from guard.

Tew is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Carter scores with a couple of nice shots.
Carter is nestled in close to Tew, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
