Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Gatt (ranked 3758 p4p, 425 weight class) and Nick Dick (ranked 6795 p4p, 621 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jordan Gatt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Dick!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatt lands a really nice looking cross but Dick seems unphased.
Gatt shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dick defends it nicely.
Dick goes for a double leg but Gatt avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gatt continues to drive forward.
Gatt tries to clinch up
and Dick counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dick lands a couple of digs.
Dick sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gatt's guard.

Gatt is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dick scores with a couple of nice shots.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Dick is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dick seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Gatt is rocked!

Oh Gatt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gatt is trying to get back to full guard.

Gatt has hold of Dick's hands but Dick slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Dick tries to pass to full mount but Gatt defends it.
Dick lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Dick is thwarting Gatt's attempts to control the position.
Gatt is defending against the submission attempts here by Dick.
Gatt seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gatt has hold of Dick's hands but Dick slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Dick is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Dick is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dick is working for a kimura but Gatt is defending it quite comfortably.
Dick is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Gatt is hurt! He's hurt bad - Dick fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Gatt from any more punishment! Congratulations to Dick! Great finish!

Nick Dick was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
