Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trametinib Mekinist (ranked 3829 p4p, 447 weight class) and Reed Money (ranked 2016 p4p, 272 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Money clinches up against the cage.
Money blocks an uppercut.
Mekinist lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Good body shot from Mekinist.
Mekinist can't find room to land a body shot as Money controls the action.
Mekinist lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Money.
Money looks winded!
Mekinist tries to work over Money's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Mekinist stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Mekinist lands a nice shot to the body.

Mekinist pulls guard effortlessly.
Mekinist wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mekinist has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Money misses the jab.
Money has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mekinist Throws a clean left jab. Mekinist Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Money's chin! Money crumbles to the ground and Mekinist follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Mekinist!
